D-Teflon aka Derrick Ling is a Celebrity Bodyguard|Actor|Stuntman|Private Investigator|Fitness Model & Adult Film star Talent Manager/Film & TV Producer who is the C.E.O of one of the premiere entertainment companies in the industry today the Alliance Entertainment/Vision Films Studios Group which operations are primarily based out of South Florida & Toronto Canada that has branches in L.A and NYC with a staff of talented individuals who come from all backgrounds of the entertainment industry specializing in the primary VIP protection of some of Hollywood's A-List Celebrities International Supermodels,Models,Executives and the management of some of the top Fitness Models Adult Film Stars in the World & handles the booking of Celebrity Talent that are overseen by DTeflon personally.
The Alliance Entertainment Group founded by C.E.O Actor,Celebrity Bodyguard Film/TV producer Derrick"D-Teflon" Ling has been in operation for over a decade going strong since 1993 until he took the company public & expanded its operations in 2000.
Under the mentorship of Radio Personality Chris Sheppherd and on air DJ DJ Fran learned the ropes of the nightlife industry and entered the Toronto Nightlife scene as a Go-Go Dancer and as well dance choregrapher from there he moved up the ranks holding various positions from bar and security staff to including nightclub manager to start his journey on what would later be where he would become one of the biggest nightclub entertainment promoters in the city in the early 90's when he met a man who he became close friends with a well known club dj who eventually became co-partner Bobby Clark aka DJ RC who left the nightlife scene in 95 and shortly after that the company was later sold.
Born in Bay Shore Long Island NY left New York with his family in the early 90's and was raised in Toronto Canada who you may recognize from various television shows & feature studio hollywood films has been featured on Entertainment, Tonight,STAR,E-Talk,now resides in South Florida & Toronto & frequents Los Angeles & NYC for work is probably best known in the Entertainment Industry for being one of Hollywood's Top Bodyguards & for being one of the entertainment Industry's most prominent faces for being recognized by his peers as truly one of hardest working men having an extensive background in the entertainment industry for over 18yrs.

HOW THE JOURNEY STARTED TO HOLLYWOOD FOR DTEFLON
In Summer of 2000 after coming back from a near death situation when he was almost fatally stabbed working at a nightclub and a co-worker and close friend was murdered on the job in front of him in 2000 most people pressured DTeflon to quit the biz but he was not going to be stopped from reaching his goals so he decided to relocate for a brief stint to Los Angeles to see what the city was all about as many people feel that in order to become a star you have to be in L.A but after seeing the city he decided that in order for him to accomplish his goals he needed to stay focused and not get caught up in the artifical world that can sometimes be in Hollywood so he decided that he wanted to prove the doubters wrong and prove that it doesn't matter what city you are from if you have the dedication to be the best you will be from anywhere.
B4 breaking in the Film/TV industry DTeflon worked full time for a private firm as liscenced private investigator dealing with Criminal & Civil investigations for a International Private firm in Toronto Canada during the day and worked extensively at night working as a club & concert events security director for over 14yrs a decided in 1999 the time was things now to take his life to the next level.

Randall Emmett of EFF Films is one of the top film producers in the industry today was mentored by his partner Avi Lerner of Nu Image/Millenium Films & together they have produced over 300 Hollywood Studio Films.
So in 2000 DTeflon was hired by Emmett/Furla Films and handled the personal security for Mr Emmett which that then led to him handling the personal protection for many of the clients on there film roster,DTeflon worked on projects for EFF and Millenium such as Edison,16 Blocks King of California and from there built quite the resume working with some of the biggest Hollywood's A-List in the film industry and since then he has been working on movie sets & various redcarpet events around the world.

In 1995 he began his quest into the film and tv industry as he enrolled in the National Institute of broadcasting which was the same school that began the career of Actor Comedian Jim Carey and shortly after he completed the program DTeflon landed a job as an internship program and worked as an On Air Radio Personality at a local raido station and began to gain experience in public speaking where he had the oppurtunity to interview top music artist from all around the globe at different events and from there had his first taste of television working on promo's for the station's dance cd informercials and also appeared in many of the station's late night broadcasts

DTeflon b4 breaking into the film entertainment industry traveled pretty much all over the world being an accomplished musician playing Internationally for the World famous B.T.T.B marching band on drum line winning various individual drumming award competitions around the world places
like Hawaii for the Hula Bowl Half time Show, Japan, Washington DC, Holland, The 4th of July Parade in Baltimore and section awards in competitions across North America for 12 yrs in music with the band until he retired in 1995 to pursue other ventures.He also studied at the Royal Conservatory for music for trumpet & piano.
